Jo is currently based in Liverpool but also works nationally around the UK. Jo specialises in Performing Arts Photography and Headshots and has focussed her attention towards local artists in the North West as well as supporting University graduates of Edge Hill University record and document their work. She has a passion for photographing dance on location and was the overall winner for the Liverpool Parks competition 2013/14.
Jo has worked with professional dance companies on both a small scale and large, these include: Robert Guy & Daniela B Larsen; Joss Arnott Dance; Jordan Massarella, Leeds; National Dance Company Wales; English National Ballet, London; Matthew Bourne, London and Wired Aerial Theatre, Liverpool. She has also worked with dance organisations such as Dance United, Bradford and Merseyside Dance Initiative, Liverpool.
Jo enjoys engaging with dance festivals such as Cloud Dance Festival and has also been involved in generating images for various companies involved in Resolution! at The Place, London, including David Willdridge and James Finnemore. Her work for Daniela B Larsen & Robert Guy’s work This House Smells of Ghosts was chosen to represent Resolution! 2009 as part of the 2014 25th anniversary of Resolution! and was displayed in an exhibition at the Robin Howard Dance Theatre, The Place, London.
